Pricing Page Teardown: 9 Patterns That Convert
We analyzed 60 SaaS pricing pages against win rates. Nine patterns separated the converters from the leakage — with examples for each.

Pricing pages are the highest-leverage page in SaaS and the least-tested. We analyzed sixty pricing pages against win-rate data from client CRMs. Nine patterns separated the converters from the leakage — and none of them require a redesign, only decisions.
Patterns one through five: framing
Lead with the outcome your buyer reports to their boss, not your feature list. Anchor high: an enterprise tier does more for mid-market conversion than any discount ever will. Show a recommended plan — decisiveness outsells optionality. Price annually by default and present monthly as the alternative. And write the CTA as the value — “Start measuring” — never the mechanism — “Sign up”.
Patterns six through nine: proof
Answer objections inline: security, implementation time, and switching cost belong under the comparison matrix, not behind a FAQ link. Show customer logos with context — “trusted by 400 finance teams” — rather than naked logos. Offer a concrete guarantee that inverts the buyer’s risk. Finally, make your comparison page honest: buyers read it when they are closest to deciding, and honesty there closes deals.
Pick two patterns, ship them this sprint, and let the data nominate the third.
